He was an excellent pastor who made significant contributions to the development of the church. He worked hard to serve his brothers and sisters, and played an important role in the construction of the church. He completely devoted his money and time to support the work of the church, and never gave up on his faith even in the most difficult economic times. His wife Wendy is also one of his successful supporters. They faced many challenges together, but they always walked firmly on the path of God. The passing of Pastor Bai has left many brothers and sisters feeling deeply sad and unwilling to part, but his influence will forever remain in everyone's heart.

白牧师，我们亲爱的白弟兄，生于‭ 1964 ‬年‭ 10 ‬月‭ 22 ‬日中国河南洛阳，在于直肠癌奋斗一年半之后，于‭ 2023 ‬年‭ 3‬月‭ 8 ‬日下午‭ 3 ‬点‭ 23 ‬分，在美国‭ LIVONIA ‬被天父平安地接回天家，享年‭ 58 ‬岁多，留下他所深爱的妻子，和一双儿女。遗体告别仪式和追思会都将在‭ Calvary Baptism Church ‬举行，从3点到5点的纪念仪式，白成牧师年轻时成绩优异。 高中毕业后，他在广州第一军医大学学习了五年，然后工作了四五年。 他觉得无聊，于是考上了河南医学院的研究生，读了三年。 毕业后，他进入中国科学院生物发展研究所攻读博士学位。毕业后，他于1999年5月申请了韦恩州立大学生物实验室的博士后工作。‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ Pastor Bai was born on October 22, 1964 in Luoyang, Henan, China. After fighting with rectal cancer for a year and a half, he passed away peacefully in Livonia, United States on March 8, 2023 at 3:23 pm, at the age of 58, leaving behind his beloved wife and two children. His funeral and memorial service will be held at the Calvary Baptism Church, with a memorial service scheduled from 3 to 5 pm. Pastor Bai achieved excellent academic results from a young age. After graduating from high school, he studied at the First Military Medical University in Guangzhou for five years, followed by four to five years of work. Feeling bored, he then applied to study as a graduate student at Henan Medical College and spent three years there. After graduation, he entered the Institute of Developmental Biology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences to pursue a doctoral degree. Upon completing his degree, he applied for a postdoctoral position at the bio-laboratory at Wayne State University in May 1999.

After a year of faith in God, he became deeply attracted to the Lord, participating in the ten-month cultivation pursued by the church and dedicating himself fully to spiritual and divine language. During this time, he did not hesitate to take a year off from his doctoral work. After the October pursuit ended, Pastor Bai was sent by the church to Cleveland for a year and he did not hesitate to resign from his postdoctoral position. During the year in Cleveland, Brother Bai actively went to places like Indiana and Chicago to preach the gospel.

In 2005, after being sent again by the church, Pastor Bai returned to China with his wife and two young children to preach the gospel. At that time, they did not have American citizenship, and going back to their home country to preach the gospel meant that their previous efforts might be in vain. But Brother Bai and his wife took a step of trust based solely on their faith in God. However, God's grace and love are wonderful. Brother Bai worked hard to open up new ground in China, leading many people to believe in the Lord in Tianjin and Luoyang. To this day, baptized brothers and sisters continue to study scripture with Pastor Bai until his final moments of life. In May 2008, this family was brought back to the United States by God.

从‭ 2008 ‬年回美国至被主接走，白弟兄在‭ Troy ‬教会忠心地服侍从未间断过。期间，他被美国‭ Calvary Baptist Church ‬聘为牧师，有时在英文堂讲道，同时牧养着这家教会中文堂的弟兄姐妹。同时，白弟兄带领信主的弟兄姐妹分散在不同地方布道，一对基督徒夫妇现在巴基斯坦传福音，也和白弟兄保持紧密联系，参加白弟兄的Zoom ‬上圣经学习；‭白弟兄带领‭ Canton ‬查经小组；带领‭ Troy ‬周五查经小组；* 在韦恩州立大学开设圣经学习 * 在密西根大学Dearborn分校开设圣经学习班 每‭一天白弟兄不是在分享神的话语，就是在‬探访‭，‬或‭是接‬待福音朋友‭。‬被白弟兄喂养过属灵的话语的人很多很多，同时白弟兄在饭食上接待过非常多的福音朋友。‬有人‭说 Troy ‬教会是个‭孵化器‬，在‭ 2017-2020年初疫情爆发前几乎每个月都有人在 Troy 教会受洗，‬很多人受洗以后分散到各地，‭白弟兄总在本子上记录这些弟兄姐妹们的信息，每天为不同的人祷告。‬他的书房里留下了好几本厚厚的祷告簿，里面记录着全世界各地的弟兄姐妹，他们都是白弟兄牧养过，并时时刻刻放在心上的。‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Brother Bai and his family returned to the United States in 2008 and remained faithful in serving at the Troy Church. During this time, he was hired as a pastor by the Calvary Baptist Church in America and would sometimes preach in English while also caring for the brothers and sisters of the Chinese congregation. Furthermore, Brother Bai led brothers and sisters who had believed in Christ to spread the gospel in different places. For instance, a Christian couple is currently preaching the gospel in Pakistan and remains in close contact with Brother Bai, participating in Bible study on Zoom. Brother Bai also leads a Bible study group in Canton and a Friday Bible study group in Troy.

Additionally, Brother Bai established Bible study classes at Wayne State University and the University of Michigan at Dearborn. Every day, Brother Bai either shares God's Word, visits, or receives gospel friends. Many people have been spiritually fed by Brother Bai's words, and he has also received many gospel friends for meals.

It has been said that Troy Church is an incubator, and from 2017 to early 2020, almost every month, someone was baptized at Troy Church. After being baptized, many people dispersed to various places, and Brother Bai always recorded the information of these brothers and sisters in his notebook, praying for different people every day. Several thick prayer books remain in his study, recording brothers and sisters from all over the world whom Brother Bai has cared for and always held in his heart.

卸下一天为主做工，在接近深夜时分便是白弟兄开始的每天读经和祷告，他的书房里留下他无数个夜晚夜读的身影，和不完成当日读经祷告不睡觉的习惯。白弟兄十几年来，读经将近两百遍，结合中英文、希伯来文希腊文解经，有些弟兄姐妹们形容听他讲道，好比接受了他从地底下挖出的金矿。‬ 白弟兄秉持爱和‭合‬一，和白弟兄同工的弟兄姐妹‭们‬都‭表示‬，从没有被白弟兄‭伤害过‬。无论来回多么劳苦，白弟兄总是给人如沐春风的笑脸，和兄长般的关怀。他在‭金钱上‬也完全‭奉献‬，‭Troy ‬教会‭给予‬的‭支持‬，‭100%都被白弟兄用于教会。‬即便在经济最艰难的时候，白弟兄不声张地开了一年Uber，支付圣经学习的场所资金和所有费用，同时每个月悄悄奉献$1000美元存在building fund里，五六年过去，当弟兄姐妹们透露着希望有自己的聚会场所，白弟兄就会说有圣徒预备了咱教会的building fund里的奉献，可以支付首付。‬在2020年神终于给了我们一个自己聚会的家，白弟兄还把自己家的房子抵押了，把房款给交齐。‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Brother Bai is a dedicated and loving servant of God who spends every day sharing God's Word, visiting others, and receiving gospel friends. His words have spiritually fed many people, and he has also welcomed many gospel friends into his home for meals. Troy Church has been described as an incubator, and many people have been baptized there from 2017 to early 2020. Brother Bai keeps a notebook with the information of these brothers and sisters and prays for them every day. He has several thick prayer books in his study, recording brothers and sisters from all over the world whom he has cared for and always held in his heart. Brother Bai's daily routine includes reading and prayer, which he starts just before midnight. He has been reading the Bible for almost two hundred times, and he combines different languages to interpret it accurately. Many brothers and sisters describe listening to his sermons as if they had received a gold mine dug from underground. Brother Bai always practices love and unity, and he has never hurt anyone, according to his co-workers. Despite the physical demands of his work, he always has a gentle smile and brotherly care for others. He also gives his full dedication to the church, using 100% of the support given by Troy Church for its needs. During the most challenging economic times, Brother Bai even drove for Uber for a year to pay for the place and all fees for biblical studies, while secretly donating $1000 every month to the building fund. When the brothers and sisters expressed their desire to have their own meeting place, Brother Bai revealed that there were saints preparing donations in the church's building fund to pay the down payment. In 2020, God finally gave them their own gathering place, and Brother Bai even mortgaged his own house to pay for the building.

‭在自己生病期间，白弟兄的心并没有多少关注自己的病情，他照样在两个教会讲道，照样带领着好几个查经班，照样探访弟兄姐妹们，照样带着代祷单子，照样默默打理着聚会所大大小小的事情，一样都没有落下…‬他像一根为主点燃的烛火，燃尽最后一滴…在病痛期间，他一直都很少让家人操心，更没有让教会操心。有圣徒说这是白弟兄最后一场战争，在属灵里白弟兄打了个胜战，他赢了！他的经历使人谦卑，他默默地奉献使人心柔软。有人说，好比和白弟兄一起读书，他尽心尽力侍奉主，鞠躬尽瘁牧养弟兄姐妹，所以他比我们早毕业了。有多少不舍，多少弟兄姐妹痛哭，多少海内外的弟兄姐妹们打电话进来问候他的家人。以生命影响生命，这是弟兄姐妹们共同的感受。白弟兄不会说教，也从不严厉，但他真的影响了很多人，舍己、柔和而谦卑，他将一切荣耀都归给神…我们都深受影响。‬ 在这里不得不提的是白弟兄的太太Wendy姐妹。丈夫参与十月追求，几次被派遣而导致生活动荡，姊妹都单纯地支持跟随。感谢神！白弟兄深爱着妻子孩子，对太太温柔照顾，对孩子呵护关怀。‬但他更爱主，那美好的仗他打过了，当跑的路跑尽了，当守的道守住了，现在在荣耀里和主一起好得无比。‬ Despite facing personal challenges such as illness and financial difficulties, he never wavered in his commitment to his faith and to helping those around him.

His example is a testament to the power of love and compassion, and to the importance of putting others before oneself. Through his actions, he touched many lives and left behind a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire others for generations to come.

I am also struck by the incredible support and devotion of Brother Bai's wife, Wendy, who stood by his side through thick and thin and supported him in his calling to serve the Lord. Her love and loyalty are a reminder of the importance of having strong relationships and partnerships in life, and of the power of faith to sustain us through even the toughest of times. Overall, Brother Bai's life is a testament to the power of love, faith, and service to others. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him, and his example will continue to inspire us all to live our lives with humility, compassion, and dedication to a higher purpose.
