Celebrating the Life of

Diana Marisa (Mari) Fierro

September 26, 1956 - December 03, 2023

Obituary

We sadly announce the passing of Diana Marisa Fierro, a glowing beacon of kindness and joy, who left us on December 3, 2023. Born on September 26, 1956, Diana lived a fulfilling life, sprinkling joy and laughter wherever she went.

She is survived by her cherished children Yamel Castro, Geno Castro, Diandra Arias, and her loving brother Danny Carretero who called her "Mari." She was also a loving grandma also known as "Mami Diana." Diana was a woman of great personality, often described by those around her as bubbly, funny, always smiling, and indeed, the life of the party. Her vibrant spirit could brighten up any room, and the love she held for her family and friends was incomparable.

Diana reveled in the simple pleasures of life. She loved her food and drink, with Garlic Shrimp and Patty Melt being her comfort foods, often enjoyed with a glass of her favorite Tequila. Music was a deep passion for Diana, particularly the 50s oldies, 70s, 80s Spanish romantic music, as well as dancing cumbia, merengue and salsa that never failed to lift her spirits. Her love for entertainment was evident in her taste for Lifetime movies and Korean Novelas.

But Diana was more than just her gleeful personality and love for life. She was a woman of spirit and compassion. One of her greatest accomplishments was her relentless work in helping the less fortunate. She believed in giving, and her actions spoke volumes about her kindness. Her legacy is her loving son and two daughters, who will continue her work and honor her memory.

Diana's fondness for the color red was as fiery as her love for dancing. If it wasn't red earrings, it was a red dress or skirt, red shoes, or red handbag! She lived life fully, with a grin on her face and rhythm in her heart. Her life was a lesson in giving, helping, and spreading joy.

We unite in mourning the loss of Diana Fierro, but also in celebrating the life of a woman who was truly the life of every party, a beacon of positivity and compassion, and a loving sister, mother, and friend. She will be deeply missed.
