HARVEY FUSON
February 25, 1939 - July 09, 2026Obituary
Harvey Fuson February 25, 1939 – July 9, 2026
Harvey Fuson was born on February 25, 1939, in Seattle, Washington, and passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026, in Newport Beach, California. He will be remembered as a successful businessman, a devoted family man, and someone whose sharp sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Harvey’s career took him to Houston, where he and wife, Sheila, built lasting friendships. In retirement, he moved to Newport Beach, California, where he remained close to family in California, Oregon, and Washington.
Harvey maintained close connections to those he loved, often checking in to make sure everyone was doing well. He was quick with a playful jab when his sports team beat a rival, and his competitive spirit carried into his lifelong love of sports and physical fitness. He ran several marathons, enjoyed long walks, and could often be found watching football on the weekends.
A keen businessman, Harvey was as much an excellent listener as he was a thoughtful problem solver, generously offering support and guidance to anyone who wanted to discuss opportunities or obstacles. He enjoyed thinking through business strategies and was his family’s biggest fan, taking great pride in every accomplishment and success achieved.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Betty (Fienberg) Fuson of Seattle, Washington.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila (Krugman) Fuson; Jodi Clausman and Brian Clausman (Jackie); his children from his first marriage, Kim Fuson and Andy Fuson (Bonnie); grandchildren, Mckenna Clausman, Connor Dautrich, Maya Clausman, Devan Clausman, Olivia Fuson, and Grant Fuson; and his brothers, Mike Fuson (Peggy) and Jon Fuson (Marlene).
