James McCann, 74, passed away on September 19, 2024, in Decatur, Illinois. Born on August 17, 1950, James was known for his loving nature, particularly as a father and grandfather. He had a remarkable sense of humor that brought joy to all those around him. James relished the outdoors, frequently going kayaking and hunting with his grandchildren. His hobbies also included fishing, watching sports, and riding his motorcycle, activities that he passionately shared with his loved ones. He is survived by his daughters, Sarah and Melissa, as well as his grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew, Kaitlin, Tim, Max, Teagan, Evan, and Jillian. James's life was marked by his dedication to his family, and his presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him
