Celebrating the Life of

Margo Callard

March 31, 1981 - April 16, 2024

Obituary

Margo passed away on April 16, 2024, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born in 1981 to Ann and Mike and was the older sister to Kacy and Tessa and the proud mother of George.

We remember Margo as a free spirit and an incredible artist — from her violin, theater, painting, singing, and writing — she was incredibly expressive in her craft. After graduating from high school, she went on to study at UCSB's College of Creative Studies and majored in literature.

Among her talents and hobbies, Margo had a knack for floral design. While living with her cancer diagnosis, she would walk among the flowers in her neighborhood and take pictures of them (with her mom and friends) ... pondering the beauty of life. She loved floral arrangements more than anything and spent many years working with flowers professionally.

Margo is loved by so many, having forged deep and lasting friendships. Those in her community certainly feel the absence of her friendship and her beautiful energy. We will miss her greatly. Margo is survived by family and beloved son, George. She was a great mom and always put in the extra effort to make George happy.

For family, friends and loved ones from afar, we invite you to share memories here.
